Learn to Skate USA Instructor Course 2026 - 2027 - complete only after you renew your 26-27 membership.

This annual compliance course prepares Learn to Skate USA instructors to deliver safe, effective, and consistent beginner skating instruction. In approximately 45 minutes, you'll review strategies for creating positive learning environments, breaking down fundamental skills, planning progressive lessons, managing group instruction safely, and applying fair evaluation standards.

Completion of this course is required to earn or maintain your Learn to Skate USA instructor status.

Retake Reminder: Didn't pass on your first attempt? You can retake this course to earn credit. Before re-entering the course, check the box labeled "Start New Attempt" — this ensures your new score saves correctly. You'll need to complete the course in full from the beginning. A score of 80% or higher is required to pass. Keep in mind that each question allows only one attempt, but you'll receive feedback after submitting each answer.
